CHUKWUEMEKA IKE



Vincent Chukwuemeka Ike was born in1931 in current Anambra State, Nigeria.He is one of Nigeria’s most celebrated novelists, and general writers. He is known for his sardonic humour, satire, and fine prose. He studied History, English and Religious Studies at the famed University of Ibadan. He also holds a masters degree from Stanford University. He is the Royal (traditional) father of the Ndikelionwu Kingdom in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State. His hometown of Ndikelionwu is featured regularly in his works, like The Potter's Wheel, Toads for Supper and Bottled Leopard
