MONGANE WALLY SEROTE



Mongane Wally Serote's published output of poetry over the decades is extraordinary. But he has also published major works of fiction and prose which are very accomplished in their own right. He has garnered numerous awards over the years.
His works, which reflect his versatility, include – Yakhal'inkomo Tsetlo, No Baby Must Weep, Behold Mama, Flowers, The Night Keeps Winking, A Tough Tale, Third world express (1992) Come and Hope With Me (1994) Freedom Lament and Song (1997) History is the Home Address, To Every Birth Its Blood (1981), Gods of Our Time (1999) and Scatter the Ashes and Go.


In 2013, Serote published another excellent work (book), titled RUMOURS.
