THOMAS MOFOLO


Thomas Mofolo remains Lesotho’s most celebrated writer, having published creative works like Chaka, Moeti oa bochabela. Born in Khojane, Lesotho he went on to obtain a teacher’s certificate. He was to display amazing proficiency at the time with a pen
His books, especially Chaka have been translated into many international languages. He is also the author of Pitseng. The library at the National University of Lesotho is named the Thomas Mofolo Library in his honour.
